Hi! My name is Andrew . I am the founder of the brand “The Oak Fam”. I have been using a wheelchair for more than 20 years. All this time my main profession has been IT. I have owned large web projects. But somewhere inside me I felt a great desire to change something, which I didn’t know exactly. I wanted to create something that could be touched and not only visually but also tangibly enjoyable, that would bring joy to other people as well, as opposed to creating websites that you can just look at 🙂

As it happens, I used to love lighting scented candles in the winter of 2022-2023 during the Depression. The candle flame warmed me from the inside and gave me peace of mind…. I bought candles in regular shops and I didn’t like the quality of these candles and the smell of paraffin at all, so I decided to find out if it was possible to make eco-friendly candles at home. (This curiosity was the basis for a future hobby that I can’t imagine my life without now.) The main priority was to create quality candles from natural and organic materials without using paraffin and other harmful substances. After reading many articles and watching hundreds of videos on YouTube, I started trying to make my own candles. Months of experimentation led to a result that I finally started to enjoy. Our candles use a 100% natural coconut wax blend with natural additives.
