b>Hello! I’m Andrej, the founder of “The Oak Fam”. – For over 20 years, I’ve been using a wheelchair, and my main profession has always been related to IT and large-scale internet projects. However, deep inside, I always longed to create something tangible – something that would bring not only visual but also tactile joy. This journey began in the winter of 2022, when, in search of peace, I discovered candles. Their flame brought warmth and inner balance. One day, completely by chance (or maybe not quite 😉), a YouTube video about handmade gypsum products and candles caught my attention. That was the moment everything changed. Out of curiosity, I started diving deeper into this field – reading, watching, experimenting, making mistakes, and trying again.
The Oak Fam
Thus, The Oak Fam was born – a place where handmade creations gain meaning and bring coziness into your home. Our candles are made exclusively from eco-friendly plant-based wax, and their wicks are crafted from a special type of wood that, when burning, produces a comforting crackling sound reminiscent of a small fireplace. For our gypsum products, we use only natural materials, ensuring that each of our creations is not only aesthetically pleasing but also sustainable.

Our vision is to create beauty responsibly. We believe that aesthetics and sustainability can go hand in hand. We strive to ensure that all our products are made only from eco-friendly materials and resources from renewable sources.
