Legal basis for processing personal data
When processing personal data, o-k.lt complies with the personal data processing requirements established by the Law on the Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts related to personal data protection, and, since May 25, 2018, with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data).
o-k.lt collects and continues to process your personal data only on the legal grounds defined by legislation – for the purpose of concluding and/or performing a contract with you, based on your consent, when o-k.lt is obliged to process personal data under applicable legal acts, or when the data needs to be processed for legitimate interest (only if the interests of the data subject do not override this interest).
The usual legal basis for processing personal data is a contract with o-k.lt (or a request to conclude a contract). Personal data may also be processed based on consent (e.g., for direct marketing purposes).
Consent must be clearly expressed, given voluntarily, presented in an understandable manner, and include information about the purpose of data usage.

How long do we keep your data?
The collected personal data is stored in printed documents and in our information systems. We retain your personal data for as long as required by legal acts or in accordance with the purposes of data processing if a longer retention period is specified.
Personal data is generally retained for as long as reasonable claims may arise from contractual relationships. Data that is no longer needed is destroyed. We strive not to retain outdated or unnecessary information and to ensure that personal data and other customer information is regularly updated and accurate.
In addition, we store information in order to provide you with necessary information when needed, to maintain a proper history of our relationship with you, and to be able to respond to any questions related to our cooperation.
